Voice over Internet Protocol (or VoIP, for short) is a set of technologies that uses the internet as the medium to transmit voice. The most popular uses of this technology are video chatting and internet telephony. In this article we will concentrate on the latter.
Internet telephony, therefore, is the implementation of VoIP technology to place and receive phone calls. – Ease of use: Internet phones have been designed to make tasks such a transferring phone calls and conference phone calls easier.
